Mutti® Tomato Puree retains the bright red color of tomatoes and has a velvety composition with an intense but sweet taste.
Ingredients
- 60 g Mutti® Tomato Puree
- 120 g penne pasta
- 20 g onions
- basil
- extra virgin olive oil
- 20 g giant capers
- 30 g diced mozzarella

Penne with Mutti tomato puree, capers and mozzarella: Method
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water
- Brown onions in olive oil, add capers, salt, pepper, basil and Mutti Tomato Puree, and cook for 10 minutes
- Drain pasta and put in a pan with sauce, cook for 2 minutes and serve on a plate, topped with mozzarella
