Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 1 1/4 cups tepid water
  • 1 packet dried yeast
  • 1 tbsp raw sugar
  • 3 cups ‘00’ flour
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt

Toppings:

  • Mutti Pizza Sauce
  • Carrots, steamed
  • Purple sweet potatoes, boiled or steamed
  • Red and yellow capsicum, sauteed or raw
  • Baby spinach
  • Broccoli, steamed or boiled
  • Cooked corn kernels
  • Red onion

Rainbow pizza made with pizza sauce: Method

  1. Add the yeast, water and sugar to a boil, mix well and leave for 10-15 until frothy.
  2. Add ‘00’ flour, dried oregano, a pinch of salt and the olive oil. Mix & knead for a few minutes until a dough forms. Add more flour if consistency is too sticky.
  3. Place into an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth and leave in a warm spot for 1-2 hours until mixture doubles in size.
  4. Cook all vegetables to your liking and cut into small chunks.
  5. When ready, roll dough into your desired pizza base size. Spread with Mutti pizza sauce and decorate with a colourful assortment of vegetables.
  6. Cook pizza in the oven for approximately 10 minutes or until crispy.
