Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccolini
  • 1 jar Mutti Aromatica Pizza Sauce
  • 2 large store-bought pizza bases
  • 2 garlic cloves (thinly sliced)
  • 2 good-quality thick pork sausages (300g) (casings removed)
  • 200 g smoked mozzarella (or any smoked cheese, grated)
  • Extra virgin olive oil (for drizzling)
  • 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes (optional)

Pork sausage and broccolini pizza with smoked mozzarella: Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C fan forced. Blanch the broccolini in boiling, salted water for 1-2 minutes until just tender. Drain and refresh under cold water.
  2. Spoon the Mutti Aromatica Pizza Sauce between the 2 pizza bases leaving a small border round the edge.
  3. Scatter garlic and sausage meat over sauce, top with broccolini and mozzarella. Drizzle with oil and bake for 13-15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden. The adults in the family can scatter with chilli flakes and drizzle with extra oil to serve.
