Ingredients

  • 480 g Cooked Cannellini beans (drained weight)
  • 500 g Passata (Strained Tomatoes)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 sprig Sage
  • 1 sprig Rosemary
  • 30 g of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pepper

White Beans in Tomato Sauce: Method

  1. Peel the garlic cloves and crush them. Place them in a pan with the oil, sage, and rosemary.
  2. Add the cannellini beans, season with salt and ground black pepper. Let it flavor for a few minutes.
  3. Add the Passata (Strained Tomatoes), salt and pepper and continue cooking for ten minutes.
  4. Serve with slices of toasted bread.
