Winter Snowball

Recreate the magic of winter in a small jar! With just a few simple supplies, you can craft a snowy landscape that’s perfect for decorating your home or as a unique, handmade gift.

What do you need

  • One 400g jar of Mutti Pasta Sauce
  • Paintbrush
  • Vinyl glue
  • Small pine cone
  • Moss or twigs
  • White paint
  • Materials for crafting a decorative star
  • White sugar

Step 1

Spread a thin layer of glue along the upper inner edge of the jar: this will ensure that the “snow” adheres perfectly.

Step 2

Pour in the white sugar and turn the jar upside down to make it stick better, then remove the excess.

Step 3

Using a brush and white paint, lightly brush the tips of the pine cone to create a snowy effect.

Step 4

Use the glue to attach the moss to the inside of the lid, creating a soft, fluffy base.

Step 5

Glue the pine cone onto the moss.

Step 6

Finish off the top of the pine cone with a small decorative star that you have previously made to your liking.

Step 7

Now everything is ready! Screw the lid with the pine cone onto the glass jar and enjoy your magical snowy landscape.
