Ingredients

  • 600 g veal steaks (topside or rump)
  • 400 g Mutti Pasta Sauce with Datterini Tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 spring fresh oregano (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 30 g extra virgin olive oil
  • t.t. salt
  • t.t. pepper

Beef Pizzaiola: Method

  1. Heat the olive oil with the crushed garlic and the sprig of fresh oregano. Brown the veal on both sides for about one minute, then set aside on a plate.
  2. Once all the slices are browned, remove the garlic and fresh oregano. Return the veal to the pan and add the Mutti Pasta Sauce with Datterini Tomatoes.
  3. Cook for an additional five minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with dried oregano and serve hot with slices of bread.
