  • 500 g fresh orecchiette
  • 560 g Mutti Pasta Sauce with Chili
  • 5 anchovy fillets
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp extra vergin olive oil
  • t.t. salt

Orecchiette Pasta with Spicy Tomato Sauce, Anchovies and Crispy Breadcrumbs: Method

  1. To prepare the anchovy breadcrumbs, melt the anchovies in a pan over very low heat. Add the breadcrumbs and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, then toast over low heat, stirring often, until crisp and deeply golden. Set aside.
  2. Pour the Mutti Chili Pepper Sauce into a large pan and warm gently over low heat for about 2 minutes.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the orecchiette. Drain al dente and transfer them directly to the pan with the sauce.
  4. To serve, toss the orecchiette well with the sauce and finish with a sprinkle of anchovy breadcrumbs. Enjoy!
