Orecchiette Pasta with Spicy Tomato Sauce, Anchovies and Crispy Breadcrumbs: Method
- To prepare the anchovy breadcrumbs, melt the anchovies in a pan over very low heat. Add the breadcrumbs and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, then toast over low heat, stirring often, until crisp and deeply golden. Set aside.
- Pour the Mutti Chili Pepper Sauce into a large pan and warm gently over low heat for about 2 minutes.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the orecchiette. Drain al dente and transfer them directly to the pan with the sauce.
- To serve, toss the orecchiette well with the sauce and finish with a sprinkle of anchovy breadcrumbs. Enjoy!
