BAKED BEANS IN TOMATO SAUCE
Made with Doppio Concentrato
Tomato Paste (Mutti Doppio Concentrato) is a great way to add rich flavour, colour and texture to dishes. Used for recipes that require long cooking times such as sauces and casseroles. 5,5 kg of tomatoes = 1 kg of Tomato Paste

BAKED BEANS IN TOMATO SAUCE: Method
- In hot olive oil, fry onions and garlic on low, until soft.
- Add tomato paste, bay leaves, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Cook for a minute.
- Add Mutti tomatoes and a little water by rinsing out the tin.
- Cook for 20mins or until the sauce is thick and rich.
- Add beans and cook for a couple of minutes until beans are heated through.
- Serve baked beans in tomato sauce on your choice of toast with a sprinkling of fresh herbs.
