How it works:

The 5 best recipes will go online for public voting

THE CHALLENGE
Simply create a 3-course menu (starter, main and dessert), using 3 different Mutti products from the essentials range in each course – all we ask is that you don’t use more than one Mutti product per recipe and that you don’t include any fresh tomatoes. And of course, we’d like to see the Mutti product as the hero of each recipe. We can’t wait to see what great recipes you come up with!
NEED INSPIRATION? HERE’S OUR UK 2021 GOLDEN TOMATO COOK WINNER
Hannah Such wowed our esteemed panel of chef judges with her tomato-based three-course menu, becoming the UK’s first Golden Tomato Cook. Here she is on the trip she won to Parma, having just done a cooking class with our Italian Mutti chef, Carlo Casoni.
Hannah’s winning three-course tomato-based menu included:
Starter: Aubergine Parmigiana Rolls with Basil Oil – hero’ing Mutti Polpa
Main: ‘Nduja and Marscapone Spaghetti – hero’ing Mutti Passata
Dessert: Fig, Pistachio and Tomato Tartlets – hero’ing Mutti Double Concentrated Puree

POMODORINO D’ORO AND THE GOLDEN TOMATO COOK COMPETITION
Have you heard about our Pomodorino d’Oro award?
It takes place every year and has been going for more than 20 years. The “Golden Tomato” award is awarded to Mutti’s best farmers, who’s lovingly cared for cultivation area has produced the highest quality tomatoes whilst using sustainable practices.
The award is given in three categories:
- Round tomatoes
- Long tomatoes
- Cherry tomatoes
Coming back for a 2nd year, we’re excited to find the UK’s Golden Tomato Cook 2022. We’re looking for the most tasty and original 3-course menu using the Mutti essentials range of products. Only the best cook who really succeeds in creating an innovative menu can claim the Golden Tomato Cook award.
