These delicious vegetarian fritters bring the authentic flavours of Greek cuisine to the table. Made with Mutti Whole Peeled Tomatoes picked at peak ripeness, aromatic herbs and just a few simple ingredients, they are perfect as a tasty finger food or appetiser.

Domatokeftedes: Greek Tomato Balls: Method
- Cut the Mutti Peeled Tomatoes into pieces and leave them to drain for about 20 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, tomatoes, flour, crumbled feta, chopped mint, oregano, salt, pepper and bicarbonate of soda. Mix well until you obtain a smooth, even mixture.
- Heat the oil to 170°C (or check the temperature using the wooden spoon test). Shape the fritters using a spoon and fry them in batches, allowing them to turn evenly golden on both sides until crisp.
- For the sauce, combine all the ingredients until smooth and well balanced.
- Serve the fritters hot, accompanied by the sauce.
