Sweet and creamy, the classic Passata is the most convenient way to use tomatoes. It’s ideal for short cooking time recipes in which it maintains its bright red color. You only need to heat it up to give a creamy texture to your recipes with eggs, white meat or to prepare a quick sauce for your pasta. Nut mix with sieved tomatoes: Method
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and set aside for 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 140C and spread soaked nuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Place in the oven and roast for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and set aside to cool. Transfer to a jar and keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
