The Mutti Chopped Tomatoes maintains all the freshness of freshly-harvested tomatoes.   • 1 tin of Mutti Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes (400 g)
  • juice of one lemon
  • 100 ml water
  • 300 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
  • 10 g butter

Caramel sauce with chopped tomatoes: Method

  1. Measure the ingredients into a saucepan and boil for 10–15 minutes, letting water evaporate. (If you want, you can also puree the sauce using a blender and then sieve it.) Let the sauce cool. Serve with ice cream.
