Made with Tomato Puree

Mutti® Tomato Puree (Passata) is sun-ripened 100% Italian tomatoes transformed into sweet velvety puree with just a touch of Mediterranean sea salt. After eliminating the skin and seeds, the tomatoes are pureed to achieve a smooth, luxurious texture while maintaining their bright red color and naturally sweet flavor. Fantastic in marinara sauce, tomato soup, or even a Bloody Mary.

Ingredients

The Mutti® Mary Mix

  • 3 oz Mutti® Tomato Puree or Mutti® Finely Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 oz olive juice
  • 2 Tsp grated horseradish
  • 1 Tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 Tsp pesto (optional)
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper
  • 1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 oz vodka

Garnish

  • 1 green olive
  • 1 wedge lemon
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 2 leaves basil

Method

  1. Mix all the non-alcohol ingredients together in a bowl or cocktail shaker. Fill a highball or stem glass with ice. Pour half the vodka over the ice then add the Mutti® Mary mixture. Place the celery stick in the glass and drizzle in remaining Vodka, garnish and serve.
