  • 4 oz Mutti® Tomato Puree (Passata)
  • 8 oz penne (pasta)
  • 1.5 oz onions
  • basil
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1.5 oz giant capers
  • 2 oz mozzarella cheese (diced)

Penne Pasta Tomato with Mozzarella and Capers: Method

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water
  2. Brown onions in olive oil, add capers, salt, pepper, basil and Mutti® Tomato Puree (Passata), and cook for 10 minutes
  3. Drain pasta and put in a pan with sauce, cook for 2 minutes and serve on a plate, topped with mozzarella
