Quick and Easy Baked Beans with Tomato Paste: Method
- In hot olive oil, fry onions and garlic on low, until soft.
- Add Mutti® Double Concentrated Tomato Paste (Doppio Concentrato), bay leaves, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Cook for a minute.
- Add Mutti® Crushed Tomatoes (Polpa) and a little water by rinsing out the tin.
- Cook for 20mins or until the sauce is thick and rich.
- Add beans and cook for a couple of minutes until beans are heated through.
- Serve on your choice of toast with a sprinkling of fresh herbs.
