  • 3 tbsp Mutti® Double Concentrated Tomato Paste
  • 1 Juice from lemon
  • 3 oz hazelnuts
  • 3 oz almonds
  • 3 oz walnuts
  • 2 oz pine nuts
  • 2 oz pistachios
  • 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 12,5 oz sugar

Crunchy Nougat made with Tomato Paste: Method

  1. Toast all the nuts in the oven
  2. Meanwhile, in a pan, cook sugar together with lemon juice and a few tablespoons of water for 20 minutes, to obtain a white caramelized sugar
  3. Coarsely chop half the toasted nuts, and mix all the nuts with the sugar and Mutti® Double Concentrated Tomato Paste
  4. Quickly pour the crunchy nougat on a sheet of baking paper and roll out with rolling pin
  5. Allow to cool and serve with ice cream
