Made with Double concentrated tomato paste

When you need a strong and intense taste of tomato, tomato paste is your choice. It works together superbly with our other products to intensify the flavor and texture of the tomato.

Ingredients

  • 400 gr of Mutti finely chopped tomato (Polpa)
  • 3 tablespoons of Mutti double concentrated tomato paste
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ onion (cut into cubes)
  • 2-3 potatoes (cut into cubes)
  • 3 gloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of extra vergin olive oil
  • 800 gr of salmon
  • salt and pepper
  • 0,5 gr saffron (optional)
  • ½ liter of vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh basil and parsley (chopped together)

Method

  1. In casserole brown oil with carrots, celery, and onions, garlic and potatoes for 5-6 minutes.
  2. Then add Polpa, double tomato paste, and stock.
  3. Add salmon cut in big pieces. Let it boil for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper (and saffron).
  4. Dust the soup with parsley and basil and serve with grilled bread.
